Beautiful Star will be returning to Triad Stage this December.  The play, written by Preston Lane with original music by Laurelyn Dossett, was a huge success last year.  Although Eric and Bennett will not be available to perform with the Beautiful Star Band due to school, Rhiannon Giddens will be returning this season.

On December 22nd, Beaconwood will be joined by Rhiannon for a special after-show performance at Triad Stage.  Admission is free for ticket holders to that evening's performance of Beautiful Star.  Concert tickets can also be purchased separately for $5 from Triad Stage.

It's been far too long since my last post.  Sorry for not keeping this as updated as it should have been.  Right now, things are on hold as all of us have gone to college.  Ryan is studying mechanical engineering and bass performance at NCSU in Raleigh, NC;  Bennett is studying jazz guitar at UNCW in Wilmington, NC; and Eric is studying jazz mandolin at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

All of us are continuing to gig out with all sorts of musicians, but we hope to set up a Beaconwood show in the next few months.  Check back here to find out any details.
